1. Holiday printed napkins! I mean…I have missed the printed paper goods this whole pandemic. I like to take delight in small things, remember? A cute print on a napkin or paper towel brings a smile to my face. 🙂
2. Took a very small break from my finishing of the xmas decorating to see this beautiful moon, Venus, … is it Saturn? (Or Mars or Jupiter, there aren’t that many candidates but I forget what else is in the Southern sky right now at sunset…) And I figured out a way to display the one angel from the big nativity set that Grandma and Grandpa have added to each year for many many years now. I found some gold elastic ribbon, and was able to tie her to the jar handles of the giant ginger jar lamp. 🙂 I cut back on how many nativity sets to put out this year, in large part because I don’t have the piano anymore which gave a large flat surface for it all. But the fontanini set is out in all its intricately painted glory, fun!
3. And just in time for YOUNGEST KIDDO! Coming home tomorrow! Which coincidentally is her BIRTHDAY (yay!) and also she is DONE with her first quarter of college and is perhaps ready to faint with exhaustion. So proud of her and all she’s been through to get to this place, can’t wait to have her home tomorrow for few weeks. 😁!
